SPECTRA at Scale & Action Learning Programme

The SPECTRA at Scale & Action Learning Programme is available for ICBs, UHBs, LCGs and HSCPs that wish to deploy SPECTRA across practices within their local healthcare economy, enabling a population health approach to uncontrolled asthma.

The Action Learning element of the programme aims to improve the quality of care for patients with uncontrolled asthma by equipping healthcare professionals (HCPs) with the knowledge and skills to utilise all of the SPECTRA resources and address quality improvement challenges.

The SPECTRA Action Learning Programme consists of 4 sessions.
All sessions are delivered virtually via Microsoft Teams

The Case for Change
Creating a SPECTRA Report
Utilising SPECTRA Resources to Triage Patients

Referral of Patients with Suspected Severe Asthma

The programme is delivered by Oberoi Consulting & a local asthma lead, facilitated by AstraZeneca.

Through the SPECTRA Action Learning Programme, HCPs engage in a problem-solving process that involves reflection, analysis, and action, resulting in the implementation of evidence-based practices and the identification of areas for improvement specific to the management of patients with uncontrolled asthma.

Delegates will have the opportunity to self-certify for Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Points by utilising a comprehensive template that captures essential insights, reflections, barriers, solutions, and identifies any additional learning requirements.

Deploying SPECTRA Resources at Scale

Depending on the technical capability within your ICB, UHB, LCG or HSCP, SPECTRA resources can be deployed centrally across your local healthcare economy.  The SPECTRA support team can support and facilitate this process working alongside your ICB, UHB, LCG or HSCP lead.

For ICBs, UHBs, LCGs and HSCPs that do not have the capability to deploy the SPECTRA resources centrally, alternative support is available to facilitate the process.
